I have to admit, I wasn’t familiar with the EduShape brand, however their “texture ball” is one of my six month old son’s favorite toys. (To my credit, my wife bought that set)
Anyway, EduShape makes some pretty cool building block sets and bath toys for the preschool and under set. Let me take you through some of my favorites from the show

One of the cool products I liked were the EduBlocks and Edublock minis. Designed like interlocking bricks, they’re made of a soft rubber, and are much much bigger. The rubber quality gives them a softness that makes these a great introduction for little hands. There are faces and animal shapes that worth with this series as well.

I also loved these faux wooden blocks. They easily resemble traditional wooden building blocks, however they’re made of a foam that’s firm enough to build with, but so soft and light, they’ll never be used as (effective) missiles.

This Dress-a-pillar presents the familiar concept of a doll covered with zippers, snaps and ties, but in a fun new format. Each segment teaches a clothing enclosure, but is a little bit more gender friendly than a dolly.

Man, my teen years would have been a bit smoother if toys like this featured bra enclosures. Get my practice in at a young age.

I loved their Tub Toys. Their sets feature cut foam that you can stick to the tub wall, but in addition to dress up (which they do have for the girls) they also have ROBOT BUILDER. With lots of random robot pieces, you can make tons of different robots in the bath. They’re even thick enough that they’ll stand on the tub edge on their own. I also liked the configurable road that you can drive cars all over.

These are just a few of my favorites, there are a ton more photos in the EduShape folder of our Toy Fair gallery, so be sure to check that out, and swing by EduShape.com for their official store. Also be sure to check out the Toy Fair video podcast for more coverage from the EduShape booth.
