I had the pleasure of speaking with Monster Jam Zombie driver Bari Musawwir late last week. We’re gearing up for Monster Jam’s descent on Baltimore this weekend, and we wanted to get to know one of the drivers better. Click below as we pick Bari’s braaaaaaains.

The Washington Kastles, owners of the longest winning streak in pro-sports history, are dominating again this summer in DC, but now indoors at the Smith Center at the GWU campus. It’s not too late to get great prices on tickets for the remaining games this week and next. Join Martina Hingis, Bobby Reynolds, Venus Williams and more for an exciting night of tennis, engaging for the whole family.
The running of the 139th Preakness was this weekend in Baltimore. I was on hand to cover the InFieldFest concerts, consisting of Lorde, Nas, and Switchfoot. In addition, I got to shoot some of the races, including the Preakness run, in which California Chrome (pictured above) won. Click below for more coverage.
Monster Jam returned to the Verizon Center in Washington DC the weekend of January 25th. We checked out the pit party, we marveled at the Nuclear Cowboyz‘ halftime exhibition, and we cheered on Illuminator as Jay Snyder won his second racing title this weekend. Check out our pics below!

Monster Jam is coming to Baltimore’s 1st Mariner Arena in two weeks! Click here to pick up tickets! I also recommend hitting the Pit Party before the show as well to get pics with your favorite trucks and snag autographs from your favorite drivers. I’ve been taking my son ever since he was two and a half, and he loves it. I have to admit, I’m a city slicker, but I love it too.
Watch my video from a previous trip above and check out more of our prior Monster Jam coverage for more detailed reviews. If you only even kinda like the idea of monster trucks, trust me, it’s an awesome way to spend the afternoon. Just make sure you have ear protection (a must for the kids, order these 3M Child-sized Earmuffs right now, and you’ll have it before the show). I’m not kidding, you may want some soft foam ear plugs for your ears too.
Monster Jam monster truck extravaganza was back in town this weekend and we were there with bells (ear protection) on. They didn’t disappoint. There were plenty of smack-downs, loads of destruction, and a truckfull of face-melting spectacle. Click below for more bone-wrenching photos. Read the rest of this entry »
