Monster Jam monster truck extravaganza was back in town this weekend and we were there with bells (ear protection) on. They didn’t disappoint. There were plenty of smack-downs, loads of destruction, and a truckfull of face-melting spectacle. Click below for more bone-wrenching photos. Read the rest of this entry »

Last Friday the 13th and trucked up to Baltimore to check out the Nuclear Cowboyz. This spectacle pits the competing Soldiers of Havoc (blue uniforms) and the Metal Mulisha (black and gold) vs the invading Cyborg Army led by the evil Tempest. Will the Nuclear Cowboyz come together and defeat the Cyborg Army, saving mankind? Check out my pics below for all the high-flying stunts and pyrotechnics. Read the rest of this entry »
The Disney on Ice show Dare to Dream (the Princess centric show) came to town and I took the family. Now before you start with the cracks… my four year old son and I decided to take Mommy as her birthday present. She really wanted to see the show, and my son is a little too young to feel emasculated by a show of dancing princesses. If anything, I should be applauded for my open minded attitudes towards gender appropriate activities. And we’re totally hitting the Monster Trucks again in January. Click below for more pics and reflections (haha, that’s funny, because it’s on ice) on this show. Read the rest of this entry »

It’s Father’s Day tomorrow. My son got me a remote trigger for my 40D, so we went and tried it out. He loved pressing the button and hearing the shutter click. I also got a small gift for myself, the 50mm f/1.4 (to replace my broken nifty fifty) I have a big week ahead of me, I wanted to be prepared. Click below to see just a few more shots as I test out my new toys.
