Monster Jam landed with a bang at Baltimore’s Royal Farms Arena this past weekend. We watched Zombie, Grave Digger, Max D, Scooby Doo, Monster Mutts Dalmation and Rottweiler, and NEA battle it out in head to head and freestyle competitions. There were a lot of changes to the Monster Jam format. Check out my write-up and huge gallery of awesome pics, below.
Last night we went to the 144th Ringling Bros Greatest Show on Earth at the Verizon Center in Washington DC. As you know from my interview with ringmaster Johnathan Lee Iverson, we had been counting down the days towards the big night.
It’s that time of year… the circus is back in town! We’re going tomorrow night, and I can hardly focus on anything. I did have to calm myself long enough to focus on speaking with esteemed ringmaster Johnathan Iverson. I got to interview him before our big night, and he shared some fantastic insight on what’s in store for us, and how he lives the life of a ringmaster and keeps up with the ever-changing show.
Ringling Bros and Barnum and Bailey are coming back to DC this weekend with their Legends show. And there’s a sweet deal with Metro, present your Metro Smart Card and get $8 off the ticket price! Details (plus save a $1 on every trip over a paper farecard, so it’s a good deal either way.)
The show runs March 19-22nd at the Verizon Center. Come back tomorrow for an interview with the Ringmaster! Click below for more details.

Last night we took our favorite princess and her mom to the premiere night of Disney on Ice: Frozen at the Patriot Center outside of DC. The production had everything you’d come to expect from the Feld family, and everyone was singing on their way out. Click for more pics and info!

I took the family to witness Marvel Universe Live at the Verizon Center on Sunday afternoon, and it was epic! The comic pages come to life as your favorite Marvel heroes battle it out with special effects and lots of action. I’m a fan of Feld productions, such as Ringling Bros Circus, Disney on Ice, and of course Monster Jam. But this event was unlike anything I’d ever seen. If you have a kid, or any fan of the Marvel Universe, you need to experience it like this.
The Washington Kastles, owners of the longest winning streak in pro-sports history, are dominating again this summer in DC, but now indoors at the Smith Center at the GWU campus. It’s not too late to get great prices on tickets for the remaining games this week and next. Join Martina Hingis, Bobby Reynolds, Venus Williams and more for an exciting night of tennis, engaging for the whole family.
The running of the 139th Preakness was this weekend in Baltimore. I was on hand to cover the InFieldFest concerts, consisting of Lorde, Nas, and Switchfoot. In addition, I got to shoot some of the races, including the Preakness run, in which California Chrome (pictured above) won. Click below for more coverage.
