Check out the video of the Remote Control capable Playmobil Fire Truck (RC module sold separately)
When I introduced this to my son, he had no idea it could drive around, check out his surprise.

Learning Curve, the makers of Thomas the Tank Engine’s wooden railway toys have captured the characters from Jim Henson’s Dinosaur Train and produced some great interactive toys. Check out this video of them in action, and then read my review below. Read the rest of this entry »
I entered a 30 second ad for Johnsonville Sausage. You can just click the link, watch, and then hit the LIKE button, you don’t need to sign in or anything. I think you’ll dig the Father/Son moment. This is also my first attempt at tilt-shift.
Play Visions makes these rubber straw connectors, you can connect any standard sized drinking straws (bendy variety helps) into making crazy chains! Check out our quick video demo (1 min)
We have been having a blast playing with the Nanos by Hexbugs. You can play with the Nanos by themselves, or go nuts building elaborate environments with the modular habitat system. The bugs are perfect for kids ages 3 & up, but I’m pretty close to bringing in this habitat to the office.
You can check out more about the Nanos from Hexbugs.com. And if you’re a collector, you can register your Nano’s unique online code at HandandStars.com
Bonus: Listen to me chat about the Nano’s on Magic 106.5 FM with Jack Logar a few weeks back!
In the interest of full disclosure, I have purchased several of the Nanos and habitat pieces shown. Hexbugs sent me additional building pieces and some extra Nanos for the purpose of review.
The Spread Heads sent us two more heads to check out, and they’re just in time for your Memorial Day cook-outs.
As you may know, once a week, Jack Logar from Magic 106.5FM calls and we discuss one of my toy reviews. This review features the audio from when we talked about these Spread Heads.
And if you liked these, check out our earlier reviews.
Be sure to visit TheSpreadHeads.com to get your own (or check out your local grocery store)
In getting excited about the Yo Gabba Gabba Live show Party in My City, I finally posted Around the World with Muno (South Africa).
As you know I won a video contest to go on Safari, so we brought along my son’s Muno action figure to take pictures that he would be able to relate to, since this was the longest we had ever been apart. So I put the pics together into a little video that’s less than 2 and a half minutes. Check it out!
(And check out my Africa Travel Blog to see the HD footage of all the animals and sights we saw)
Be sure to check out all of our Yo Gabba Gabba coverage including videos, toy reviews, and more.
