Monster Jam Trucks to Arrive in the Nation’s Capital January 24-25, 2014
(Washington, DC) – For the first time since 2011, Monster Jam® returns to the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. January 24 and 25, 2014.
Monster trucks are custom-designed machines that sit atop 66-inch-tall tires and weigh a minimum of 10,000 pounds. Built for short, high-powered bursts of speed, monster trucks generate almost 2,000 horsepower and are capable of speeds of up to 100 miles per hour. They whirl and fly 130 feet into the air, amazing audiences of all ages.

My son and I are super excited about Monster Jam hitting Baltimore this Saturday. I have compiled pics I’ve taken from years’ past, of the trucks that are assembling to bring the destruction to M&T Bank Stadium.

Monster Jam returned to the 1st Mariner Bank Arena in Baltimore this past weekend and they brought the noise and the destruction. Click below for tons of cool pics and more.
Monster Jam is coming to Baltimore’s 1st Mariner Arena in two weeks! Click here to pick up tickets! I also recommend hitting the Pit Party before the show as well to get pics with your favorite trucks and snag autographs from your favorite drivers. I’ve been taking my son ever since he was two and a half, and he loves it. I have to admit, I’m a city slicker, but I love it too.

If you only even kinda like the idea of monster trucks, trust me, it’s an awesome way to spend the afternoon. Just make sure you have ear protection (a must for the kids, order these 3M Child-sized Earmuffs right now, and you’ll have it before the show). I’m not kidding, you may want some soft foam ear plugs for your ears too.
Monster Jam monster truck extravaganza was back in town this weekend and we were there with bells (ear protection) on. They didn’t disappoint. This past weekend my old college roommate and I took our six and four year old sons to the Monster Jam at the Verizon Center in Washington DC.
