My seven month old son loves the Playskool Busy Gears we picked up for him. The packaging says 12 Months & up and maybe this is why– My son loves getting his fingers caught in between the gears. It doesn’t hurt, it’s been expertly engineered to be very safe, but my little guy really gets a kick out of playing “Child Labor worker” of the 1900s.

I think my son would love to watch the gears go around, but I don’t know how he would react to getting his fingers caught. It seriously doesn’t hurt? Can your guy get his fingers unstuck, or does he need a grownup to extract them?

Yeah yeah, it’s perfectly fine and he gets his fingers uncaught on his own. It looks waaaay worse than it actually feels.
