Using 1.5 tons of the children’s putty from 10,000 pots – costing around £6,000 in total – the hand-crafted sculpture was created by a team of eight model makers over a two-week period.
My son is about two and three quarters (ah those were the days) and he just got into Play-Doh. He set his eye on the Coco-Nutty Monkey one visit to Toys R Us. We were having serious discussions about potty training so we picked up the mnkey, and told him he could play with it as soon as he gave up diapers. Three weeks later, we haven’t had an “accident” in days and someone is looooving their Coco-nutty monkey. Check out my pics and review below. Read the rest of this entry »
Saw this on UglyDoggy.com, this ad campaign in Singapore is, I guess, aimed at adults? So they get classically dangerous stuff (chainsaw, razor blades, matches, a bottle full of pills) and sculpt it out of Play-Doh. Like we’ve said before, parents aren’t cool with mixing their adult and kid friendly worlds. Sometimes it’s hilarious, but most of the time, it’s pretty disturbing. Growing up, I was told not to make turds out of Play-Doh (I was 3)… my how the times have changed.

Here are all of the pics of the Play-Doh Ice Cream Shop in our gallery. We recently got to try out the Play-Doh Ice Cream Shop. Appropriate for any age kids that enjoy Play-Doh (however the point is to produce fake looking food, so if you have children who still put things in their mouth you may want to wait a bit on this set), Here is a new “twist” (I can’t believe I pulled out the cheesy puns so early). The centerpiece of the play set is the lever based dispensor that squirts the Play-doh into a rotating cone or dish. Between the nozzles (there are several shapes) and the spinning, you get something that looks a lot like soft serve ice cream. My son and I were excited to hear about the new NASA Orion capsule. This is the vehicle our astronauts will be using in a few years to return safely from trips to Mars and the Moon! I recently picked up the Playmobil Rescue Raft (5545) from Toys R Us. I decided to mod it to look like the new capsule. Check out my pics below, including a link to download a set of decals to make your own Orion capsule!

[singlepic id=22 w=150 h=113 float=right]We really got a kick out of Cadaco’s Enviroblox at Toy Fair. Now we got the chance to play with some. We gave a set to a 3 year old and his dad to play with, and I attempted some horror movie special effects with another. We’ve got a lot of pics and a cool video of a melting face!
